During gameplay in fallout4 with a gtx 1060 6gb with some heavy modding I reach about 71 max and fps stays at my 61 fps max cap in most situations, EVEN in downtown area gunfights. I'm currently running mine with Noctua l9圆5, which isn't even recommended by noctua for this chip without good airflow and disabling something In bios, and I'm reaching temps between 82-87 C during prime 95 stress testing for 30 ish minutes. I haven't gotten a chance to overclock yet, (I need to get a new cooler). From what I've seen the solution to these heat issues is delidding (which means voiding the hell out of your warranty) and replacing that poor thermal paste with some form of liquid metal (grizzly conductonaut is one that seems to be the best). On these chips Intel is using some pretty not that good thermal compound between the die and integrated heat spreader, meaning this thing gets hot! It'll also randomly Spike in temps at times (I've seen so far on mine a max spike of 20 degrees C!) Intel's response to this is that you shouldn't overclock even though you are paying the premium for it. This chip is pretty alright so far at stock, BUT it's a K series chip, meaning you're paying a premium to overclock.
